Hello all,

As you may notice from your website, I'm going to be presenting on February 19th about TDD. My typical presentation is geared more towards Code Camps, which are typically about 60 minutes long. Now, most user group meetings are two hours, so we've got lots of time. Is there anything in particular, related to Test Driven Development, that you would like to see in the extra time available to us? Maybe reply in this thread so we can keep it all together.

I've made a lot of changes to a E-Commerce Site and I need a coherent plan to
test the entire site and functionality.

I'm not a QA / Tester guy, just the Developer

So what I did is put down a number of items in a Spreadsheet ?

I believe someone mentioned some Free UI testing Software.

I have a friend who uses an expensive tool: Mercury Interactive ....

1. How to build the Test Plan
2. Test Scripts for the UI ( not the Bus Objects )
3. Automated Testing Tools ( Free )

The image upload and linking of Avatar functionality not quite working yet???

Not sure how to post code here... so I will switch to HTML and use <blockquote> since I've noticed that <pre> is running about 3000px right out of the viewport on X-axis (too much text - see below)

Remote Admin: Uploading ASP pages and codebehind Files and Sql Page

Hi all,

I have a client that I need to do work for remotely but they are not enabling

FTP or providing VPN access to the Server.

1. Uploading Page Changes

So, I thought of creating some Admin Page on the Site where I could upload files using a Asp.Net Upload control and save the file in the proper location.

I would need some security permissions to SAVE into the website folders right ? How to do this ?

2. Running some Sql Patches

Create a Admin page with a text box multiiline to accept some Sql Text

and run against the Database.

Any ideas on this ?

Is there some other alternatives ?

Firefox problems with rich textbox editor

I created my initial post through Firefox and thought the rich textbox editor wasn't working. Turns out it's only compatible with IE.

So us Firefox users will have to remember to use the forum with the IETab plug-in or IE if we want to change font stylings, add links, pics, etc .
