I have a client that I need to do work for remotely but they are not enabling

FTP or providing VPN access to the Server.

1. Uploading Page Changes

So, I thought of creating some Admin Page on the Site where I could upload files using a Asp.Net Upload control and save the file in the proper location.

I would need some security permissions to SAVE into the website folders right ? How to do this ?

2. Running some Sql Patches

Create a Admin page with a text box multiiline to accept some Sql Text

and run against the Database.

Any ideas on this ?

Is there some other alternatives ?
